These terms cover what Rose of Jericho does, what it does not do, and what each of us is responsible for.

Medical disclaimer

Rose of Jericho records what you enter. Nothing more.

The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. It does not interpret symptoms, foods, lab values, or vitals, and it does not tell you what your records mean. It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by any regulatory body.

Rose of Jericho is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always ask your physician or another qualified health provider about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you saw in this app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number.

Acceptance of terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Rose of Jericho LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rose of Jericho, and at least 18 to purchase a subscription.

Description of service

Rose of Jericho is a personal wellness field journal. It lets you record symptoms, foods, reactions, labs, and vitals, keep daily rhythms, save Scripture and prayers, and view your own entries over time.

The app organizes what you enter. It does not interpret it. See the medical disclaimer below.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Tell us promptly at victoria@roseofjericho.app if you believe someone else has access to your account.

One account is for one person. Do not share an account, and do not create an account on someone else's behalf without their permission.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and any free trial are shown before you purchase.

Subscriptions are sold through the App Store or Google Play and are billed to the payment method on that store account. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops future charges. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your journal remains readable afterward on the free tier.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. If a charge looks wrong, write to victoria@roseofjericho.app and we will help you take it up with the store.

Acceptable use

Use Rose of Jericho for your own record keeping. Do not:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the app;
  • attempt to access another person's account or our systems without authorization;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the service;
  • upload malicious code, or interfere with the app's operation for others;
  • use the app to provide medical services or advice to other people.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, its illustrations, and its written content belong to Rose of Jericho LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app while your account is in good standing.

What you write stays yours. You keep all rights to your entries, notes, and goals. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that content back to you, and to make backups.

Disclaimer of warranties

Rose of Jericho is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that entries will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; you can export your data at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rose of Jericho LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or health outcomes, arising out of your use of the app.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars.

Termination

You may stop using Rose of Jericho and delete your account at any time from Settings.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, or that we are required to close by law. Unless the law requires otherwise, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will give notice in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
