Common questions

How is my data protected?

Your entries travel over an encrypted connection and are stored encrypted at rest, in a database with per-account access rules so only your account can read your records. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. The privacy policy covers this in detail.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so they are cancelled there rather than in the app. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions.

Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your journal stays readable afterward.

Does the app diagnose anything?

No. Rose of Jericho records what you enter and shows it back to you. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, does not interpret symptoms or lab values, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Bring your records to your doctor; they are yours to share.

Can I turn the faith features off?

Yes. In Settings you can hide the daily anchor verse, the Anchor tab, and any Scripture prompts. The rest of the journal works exactly the same, and nothing you have saved is deleted. You can turn them back on later.

What happens if I miss a few days?

Nothing is lost and nothing is reset. There are no streaks and no overdue markers. The rose curls in gently when it has not been tended and opens again the next time you come back. Missed days are simply blank days in your record.

How do I export my data?

Open Settings and choose Export data. We email a machine-readable file containing your entries, rhythms, goals, and notes to the address on your account, usually within a few minutes. You can also request an export by writing to victoria@roseofjericho.app.

Which devices are supported?

Rose of Jericho runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or later and on Android phones with Android 10 or later. It works on tablets at phone proportions. Your journal syncs across every device signed in to the same account, and recent entries are available offline.

How do I request a feature?

Write to dev@roseofjericho.app and describe what you are trying to keep track of. Requests are read personally, and the ones that come up repeatedly shape what gets built next.

Account and legal

To delete your account and everything in it, open Settings in the app and choose Delete account, or write to us and we will do it for you. Our privacy policy explains what we store and for how long, and the terms of service cover subscriptions, refunds, and the medical disclaimer.
